C3: College and Career Connections 

Scharbauer Foundation partnered with Midland College, Midland ISD, and a coalition of local funders to help launch C3, an innovative initiative designed to better prepare students for college, careers, and lifelong success. The program connects education and workforce needs by helping students explore career pathways, earn industry-recognized credentials, and gain exposure to real-world opportunities before graduation. 

By strengthening the connection between K–12 education, higher education, and local employers, C3 helps create clearer pathways to high-demand careers while supporting Midland’s long-term workforce needs. Scharbauer Foundation’s investment reflects its commitment to helping students succeed personally and professionally while ensuring local employers have access to a strong and prepared future workforce.
