Scharbauer Foundation partnered with the Museum of the Southwest to support the preservation and restoration of historic structures and collections that help tell the story of Midland and the surrounding region. Located on the historic Turner Mansion property, the museum serves as an important cultural and educational resource for the community, connecting residents and visitors to the people, places, and events that shaped West Texas history.

The Foundation’s investment reflects its broader commitment to preserving Midland’s heritage while supporting community-centered spaces that strengthen quality of life. Through partnerships with organizations like the Museum of the Southwest, Scharbauer Foundation continues helping preserve the community’s history while creating opportunities for education, engagement, and cultural enrichment for future generations.
